Welcome to Forest & Bee

My approach is strengths‑based and identity‑affirming,
centred around exploring your

In-person therapy and therapeutic art sessions are set in a peaceful, rural environment, surrounded by the serene beauty of Somerset, creating a sense of grounding and connection to nature.

I also offer online and telephone therapy.

My work is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs.
This aligns well with those who are coming to terms with a late diagnosis or identification of neurodiversity, and those who have learned to mask deeply over the years.

Together, we will work flexibly and creatively to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours to enable you to make sense of your world.

With a focus on connection and relationship, you are invited to ask for what you need to make sure your time is spent comfortably.

My practice is home education and unschooling-friendly, LGBTQIA+ welcoming, neuro-affirming and disability inclusive.

About me

Hi, I’m Becs (she/her).

I’m a neurodivergent therapist, and I understand what it’s like to navigate life with a brain that works differently. I know the challenges, the worries, and the moments of self‑doubt – but I also know the strengths, creativity, and tenacity that often come with difference.

My practice is neuro-affirming, LGBTQIA+ welcoming and disability inclusive, supporting and celebrating your strengths and identity.

I do not view neurodivergence as a disorder or a condition, but as a naturally occurring neurotype. Forest & Bee is a safe place to be yourself, where stimming and unmasking are welcomed.

My approach enables you to take the lead in how you would like things to change, how you would like to be perceived and begin to rewrite your story, which aligns with your authentic identity and true sense of self.

About Forest & Bee

I created Forest & Bee after desperately searching for support when my family was in crisis. Not only was I looking for ways to best support my neurodiverse child, but I was also battling systems that didn’t work for us and making sense of my own late-diagnosed neurodivergence.

I know first-hand how devastating and isolating these experiences can be. And I also know that trauma recovery can’t be measured in targets - my intention is to meet you exactly where you’re at. I’m here to hear your story, validate your experience, and support you through it. Things can change, and they can get better.

Forest & Bee is the safe place that I was searching for. Somewhere that young people and adults can feel accepted and understood, even at times when they might be non-verbal; there are so many other creative ways to communicate!  And where parents can share the burden of caring for others when they may be struggling themselves.

If any of this resonates with you, then welcome to Forest & Bee.

I look forward to hearing from you.

represents the importance of relationships.

And in return, bees bring energy and intention.

Together, they create an ecosystem of balance, change and purpose.
